Edgewater Cottage Wells Maine is Nestled in the woods at the end of the quiet lane adjacent to Depot Brook. Very relaxing listening to the brook just outside the kitchen and master bedroom windows, tongue and groove vaulted ceilings. Master Bedroom with queen bed / 2nd bedroom with new daybed with two twin mattresses. Newer full kitchen and newer full bath, living room with full pullout sofa, sitting area at the entry. Newer carpet in bedroom’s newer vinyl floor in bathroom and newer interior paint throughout. Basic cable TV, WIFI, Picnic table and fire pit at the quiet sitting area just outside of the cottage. (maximum – family of 6 / No groups for parties)

Dan and Kathy were the best hosts! So friendly and warm, offering hot spots and easier routes which was most appreciated! Felt like old friends we were visiting. Can’t say enough about the sweet cottage, location to everything, fully stocked necessities and their lovely welcome. Had the best time with my 3 sisters. Your added bonus to a memory we shared about our dad was the sweetest! Thank you Dan and Kathy!

Dan was incredibly friendly and even allowed us an early check in which was perfect timing when we got there. The property was clean and quiet and even had a nice gas grill and fire pit with seating in the yard. There were plenty of places to walk and get food and the beaches were literally 5 minutes drive! We would definitely recommend this spot to 2-3 people for a getaway in a cute little beach town!!

Dan and Kathy offer one of the best places to stay in the Wells area! It is clean, comfortable, private and close to everything you are in Maine for – food, shopping, and of course, the beach! Dan was quick to respond to any message and was the most friendly neighbor we have ever had. Their place was well equipped and felt like staying in someone’s own home rather than a rental. The outdoor shower and fire pit was icing on the cake. We had the most amazing time. It was difficult to leave! We will absolutely rent from Dan and Kathy again!

This cottage was perfect for us (family of four). It was in a great location but offered a lot of privacy at the same time. We loved the stream and the wooded area behind the house. There is also a great walking trail close by that we enjoyed in the mornings. Great restaurants and beaches were also close at hand. Great location, great hosts, great value! |

We had a fantastic stay at Dan’s cottage. It had everything we needed and was in a great location. We made good use of the grill and outdoor shower. I loved the steam out back- it was very peaceful to wake up and see the running water. We will come back next year!

Dan and Kathy’s place is a great little cottage for a family vacation. Fully equipped kitchen, and with gas BBQ. We had a great time there, would definitely recommend! Walking distance to a nice restaurant in Wells’ marshes. (Approx. 3 mins) very quiet location, and very private at the end of a small alley.

Dan’s cottage was in a perfect and convenient location. It was private and right next to a lovely creek. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the outdoors. Inside the cottage was very well laid out with comfortable and clean furniture and well stocked and spotless kitchen and bathroom. Had everything we needed for our stay. The heat worked quickly and well for the cool nights. Would love to stay again when we return. Had everything we needed for or stay.
